In this piece, from the “Constructed Photographs” show at the Addison Gallery of American Art, a found photograph from the ’50s of students painting on easels in the museum is painted life-size over several surfaces: the walls, entryway, easels and floor. It was located in one of the museum galleries that featured 19th century art. The walls seem to bring forth the memory of earlier classes and students.
